■Controls
VOLUME: Start with the volume at noon and adjust it to your liking from there.

BRIGHT: To help cut through dark or muddy amps, we made this control very bright, so if you're using this pedal for mid/low gain tones, be careful as it can get a little harsh at the top of the range.

ATTACK: The left has more punch in the low-mids, the right has more picking clarity. The left is a bit old school and thick, the right is very modern and clear. The combination of the attack and brightness knobs allows for a variety of unique combinations. Turn the attack to the left while increasing the brightness to keep the sound balanced, or vice versa. Also, turn both to the left and double down for a doom-like tone, or turn both to the right for a super bright and cutting tone.

DRIVE: As with most pedals, it's a good idea to start off near zero. A cool tip is to get a dry, clear tone, then slowly turn up the Drive knob to around 1-2 to get the saturation and fatness you want. We've worked a lot on this part of the circuit to make it really usable, so feel free to turn it up for mid-gain tones or to add saturation and sustain to your solos.

GATE: On the left, the gate has minimal effect on the tone. On the right, you get a very tight bass response, but it gets in the way of solos. Noon is a good middle ground that will accommodate most players and their applications. As with any gate, the more gain you use, the less tight it will sound. Be careful though, if you use too much gain (a lot of amp gain, a lot of pedal gain, or a lot of both), you can simply overload the gate and it will no longer function properly. Nobody wants to end up with a shrieking, inconsistent tone, so using the right amount of gain is a very good idea.

I’m Team Maelreg!
Color: Dark Grey Heather, Size: 3X-Large
I’m a huge fan of Maelreg! I’ve purchased numerous polos, a hoodie, a pair of shirts, and some golf pants, as well as two of these quarter zips (and I currently have a third one in my Christmas list). I love the way they fit and the way they look. I’m a bigger guy too, so it’s not easy to find fashionable “ath-leisure” apparel that doesn’t make me look like a popped can of Pilsbury biscuit dough. The only thing close to a complaint I can think of is that these are a lightweight weight material and the collar doesn’t want to stand up on its own. I wish Maelreg made a medium weight version with a little sturdier of a collar, but that’s just me.

Nice fit!
Color: Saxony Blue Melange, Size: X-Large
Great fit. Very comfy. Not too heavy. (Think late spring, early fall weather.) Material and stitching seems high quality. Slightly stretchy fabric. We’ll see how it holds up to wear and washing, but so far so good. I’ve already purchased another in a different color.

Fits true to size and good quality
Color: Black Grey Heather, Size: Large
I gave this 5 stars because I was pleasantly surprised by the fit and quality. The zipper is nice, it zips firm, it's not flimsy like a cheap zipper. For reference I am 5'7", athletic build, and 198 pounds. I ordered a size large and it fits perfect. I will buy more for sure.

Great fit, excellent material. Will buy more!
Color: Cobalt Heather, Size: Small
Great quarter zip comparable to the high end designer brands. Buttery material, well fitted. Runs a bit big so I sized down and it’s a perfect trim cut fit. Will buy other colors. Would like to see some patterns in addition to the solid colors. I’m 5’10” 165lbs and small size fits perfectly.

Perfect for the gym!
Color: Cobalt Heather, Size: XX-Large
I bought 2 (black and blue) and wear them to the gym weekly. They wash & dry very well! They are nice enough for casual wear too. I’ll probably buy a 3rd color soon!
